I received a Bachelor of Science from Duke University in 2019. In 2018 I was selected to participate in the Higher Education Research Experience program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and studied microorganisms found in and around Sphagnum moss. After graduation I returned to the lab as a research associate. Currently, I study cyanobacteria in the context of its association with Sphagnum, to gain better understanding of the symbiosis.
